Hi Elaine I don't know whether you have access to the Land Titles Office in Sydney, but from memory I think they have records of owners and probably descriptions of homes purchased you may be able to check this way on the particular house at Belfield in the time period you want. Joan David, Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately ,looking on Google earth I find the house in question has been demolished and a new modern home is there now. I did recognise the home next door though, but that is not any use to me. Cheers Elaine Elaine, Google Earth will tell you what the house looks like now and if it hasn't been altered too much will give an idea as to how it looked in the 50s. Lots of the Belfield area houses have been radically changed though.
