I'm seeking information about Andrew James "Jim" McWhirter Alexander. He was the son of Andrew Bremner Alexander and Agnes Victoria Owen. He is believed to have been born circa 1914 and possibly died in August 1979. The Sept. 12, 1979 issue of the Wyong Advocate refers to the death of an Andrew "Jim" Alexander who could be this person. Cant find any record of them marrying in NSW. Some time later they must have moved north up the coast where he d in the Wyong area 1979 Margaret May ALEXANDER d 26 Mar 1988 , Was a notice in the Sydney Morning Herald that she was wife of James (dec) and mother of Andrew. Shes listed in the 1980 NSW electoral roll as being over at Long Jetty She was cremated at Northern Suburbs, North Ryde, NSW ( name changed to Macquarie Park a few years ago > records not on line ) You could get a transcription of his death cert from any of the 3 agents ( see NSW BDMs web site) at around A$20 When posting on a foreign list its not a bad idea to give clue to your location !
