Hi Carole Perhaps you would be better off paying for credits on Scotlandspeople. It costs £7GBP (approx. A$12.50) for 30 credits. To view and download 1 image costs 5 credits. Credits last for 1 year. Hi Carole I passed over the original post as I have no experience of the My Heritage site But seeing Jans reply I looked again at your post I would not think my Heritage has any births in Scotland, events under civil registration are not available to anyone online except Scotlandspeople On scotlandspeople, yes its £7 per 30 credits, there is a free search to a point but you need to spend one credit for a page of results for the free search (max of 25 per page) then 5 credits to view an image of the event So you would search for events, which you can do for free using the various search parameters available, find how many hits there are, to see those hits costs the 1 credit, that page of results will give a little more detail from which you may be able to tell which is your event, then from that hit you spend the 5 credits to see the image So if used carefully you can get 5 events (or certificates if you will) for 30 credits That applies to the census as well as births, marriages or deaths Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 29/08/2014 12:02, jandbgrant via wrote: > Hi Carole > > Perhaps you would be better off paying for credits on Scotlandspeople.
