I have a Alfred Prosser AUDET born abt 1893 served WW1 married 1918 to Eileen Pearl Cantwell(born 1899) Army records say Eileen was a widow by 1921 I have tried the online BDM without any luck Can anyone assist me with a death date for Alfred ? Hi Rod, The first marriage was between Alfred Prosser AUDET and Eileen (Elleen) P.S. FOLEY (not Cantwell) - 1918, Sydney, 6966/1918 and 6968/1918 - looks like a couple of transcription errors in the index. Second marriage between Eileen P. AUDET and Jack A. PORTER - 1931, Sydney, 4127/1931 There is a death on the Ryerson Index for Eileen Pearl PORTER at Chatswood on 1 August 1934, published Sydney Morning Herald 2 August 1934 - http://www.ryersonindex.org/ NSW BDM index, death of Eileen P. PORTER, daughter of Edward L/Lalla, registered Chatswood 11888/1934. On the NSW BDM index there's also a marriage between Alfred AUDET and Rebecca EATHER in 1888 at Newcastle, 6637/1888 - and the birth of their three children, including Alfred P, all at Narrabri-NSW. Rebecca's headstone at Wee Waa-NSW - http://austcemindex.com/inscription.php?id=4833142 This may therefore be the death you are looking for, with a few errors - Alfred M. AUDETT, parents Alfred/Rebecca, died 1919, Marrickville in Sydney-NSW (9631/1919).
