I have a William Henry MOORE who was a policeman 29.1.1847 until he was dismissed 14 months later on 17.3.1848. Am wondering where would it be best to find out why he was 'dismissed' - Police Gazettes or Col Sec Records or even SMH? The Police Records did not record 'why' just the dates.
