    3. Hi Jenny you are off topic. Here's a way to get back. If you have a query that isn't on topic, try searching for a board or list that is. You will get much better answers than this from those at that list. http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ will allow you to search for a list or a post that is on your topic whether it be software suggestions or some shlomo from some shtetl. The advanced search feature even allows you to restrict your searches to recent posts so that you don't get advice on something than ran on a MicroBee from a cassette under C/PM. If you are asking for software advice, you need to be more specific: what operating system are you using? (eg I'm using a IBM compatible running under Vista Home Basic) what is your budget? (eg I'd like a freeware program) what is your level of experience - computing and program type specific (eg I'm a newbie but an experienced graphic artist) how is your data stored (eg I'm using a manual system to store my data) If you are looking for freeware, a good place to start is http://www.pricelessware.org/ Then there are places that have heaps of info: http://en.geneawiki.com/index.php/Main_Page http://www.coraweb.com.au/software.htm http://www.cyndislist.com/software.htm Good luck with your research! 2009/9/4 Jenni Kay <jenni@esc.net.au>: > Hi all,
