Dear Listers I wonder if there is anyone who goes fairly often to the NSW State Library who would be willing to do look ups in the Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper ? . Have no idea how many there might be ! I have done the look ups from the 1976 SMH and my local Central Coast Express for quite a long time . Last week I had 7 SMH and 2 CC Exp......... None at all since about Thursday last week The Ryerson data base is an invaluable resource but it takes a great many volunteers to make it all work . Would you like to be one of these SKSs ?? You can use flash drives at the State Library Hope there is a SKS out there as at the moment we cant do look ups in the Daily Tele Many thanks Bye MargM Ryerson Volunteer SMH 1976 & Central Coast Express
Could I please ask for a look up for a James Henry McDonald who would have been living in the Tumbarumbah/Corowra/Young area. If possible I would appreciate the name of the person he was living with. According to his marriage certificate he was married in 1924 in Tumbarumbah. His death certificate has him living in Young with three children aged 28, 25 and 23. On his wife's death certificate she lists her children from previous marriages but not from their marriage. Their is another marriage listed in 1928 of a James H being married in Corowra. This could possibly be him. We are now beginning to think that he possibly remarried or was living with someone. His first wife is listed on the death certificate. Very many thanks Marie
Hi Marie I believe the places are Tumbarumba, Cowra & Young Tumbarumba is 277km to Cowra and 165 km to Young. Young is inbetween Tumbarumba and Cowra Sue
