If he was only in NSW for 2 1/2 years, and didn't marry or have children, then you probably won't find out much more other than what is on his death certificate and the information given about his background in the newspapers. Have you checked the UK newspapers for that time period? Its possible his hometown may have reported his crime and execution, giving details of his family there.
