I would like to sincerely thank all Listers who helped with my query re Edward. Because of the help offered and the Australian Medical Pioneers Index being made known to me, I am now much better informed re the doctor. The Editor of the AMPI did further research on Edward after I had given him his birth, parentage and native place details. Thanks to him and you all, I now know that he arrived in 1874 and had his wife with him. I have the vessel's name, also. So thank you all so much. I am truly grateful. Gloria
