George's brother, James Edward BOYD, also enlisted in WW1. His papers show his father, James BOYD, died 19 February 1916; his mother was living at 211 Crown Street, Darlinghurst. The NSW BDM index, shows -] 1888 - Marriage of James BOYD to Alice R. WOODGATE, Sydney (cert no 772/1888) 1889 - Birth of George D. BOYD, parents James and Alice, in Sydney in 1889 (cert no 1465/1889). 1891 - Birth of James E. The first death is the most likely, as his father's name was Dean, which is son George's second name. Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, Matraville - 1936 - Alice Rachael BOYD, interred 14 August 1936, age 69, Location GA General FMA, Grave 519 There was no burial for James or James Edward BOYD at Eastern Suburbs cemetery or crematorium. I couldn't locate them at Rookwood Anglican or Rookwood General either.
