Hi Patrick, My mother was fostered by a family of BREEN's who lived above the shops on the corner of Johnson Stereet and Parramatta Road, Petersham/Leichhardt back in the 1930's. Nanna BREEN as Mum use to refer to was a good friend of my late Grandmother NORTH. Grandmother's Uncle Reg Gorman had place Mum in the care of Nanna BREEN after Grandmother's death in 1929.
