HI everyone I’m doing research into the above couple. James BRIEN b c1833 in LONDON died in 1917 in Greymouth NEW ZEALAND aged 84 years. James had been living in New Zealand for 26 years in 1917 James was married in Sydney to ANNIE JACKSON nee DEVLIN in 1877. Annie was married as SARAH A R DEVLIN in Sydney in 1866 to Jefferson JACKSON who died in 1876 in Sydney. Herbert A (ASTON) BRIEN was born to James and Annie (Sarah) in 1886 Registered in Glebe. Another child I found was James Andrew BRIEN born in 1881 also in Glebe to a James Joseph and Sarah Ann. Sarah Annie Gertrude DEVLIN was born in ARMAGH Ireland c 1847 to John Devlin and Theresa Rogers. I’m trying to find when both James BRIEN and Sarah DEVLIN came to Australia and we are yet to find James BRIENS parents as they are not listed on the death certificate. Hi Dianna There are two family trees but can only look at one. It only have that James was born London and died in NZ But has that Sarah Annie Gertrude Devlin b 1847 Married to James on 15 Nov 1877 Ultimo, Sydney, NSW And she arrived 1864.
