It was suggested I check his marriage record for him and Mary Anne Doherty, 1922 in Narrandera, New South Wales, but all I can find is the year and a Registration Number: 3073. See BDMS web site A check in Ancestry indexes reveals a birth record of a Roy Boyd BLAIR to father n/k mother Mary BLAIR 6 Oct 1895. Ulverstone TAS . Maybe he didnt stay in AUS as not in the electoral rolls to 1980 ??? BDM records for Tasmania to 1899 are on film in some libraries . Can be looked up for free.
