Hi I was hoping that someone had the Old Register one to nine on CD as I’m searching for any mention of ELIZABETH ANDERSON who was born c1815 London England and had her first child John PRICE 1836/37 in Sydney, father of John Price is another John Price. As I don’t know when/how Elizabeth Anderson arrived in Australia I thought that the Old register may contain something. I’m compiling a list of all Elizabeth Anderson’s (convict/free settler) that may fit the above time. I have not located a birth baptism as yet for the above JOHN PRICE born 1836/37 1836/8 The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser” Monday 3 December 1836 CAUTION HEREBY Caution the Inhabitants of Sydney, and of the Colony at large, against giving trust or credit to my Wife, Elizabeth Price, as I will not be answerable for any debts she may contract.- JOHN PRICE. Sydney, November 29th, 1838.(this advertisement was on page 3 and page 5 of the same edition).. Elizabeth then appears in Mudgee/Cooyal Creek area having her next 5 children to JOHN SNOW from 1839 to 1847. John Snow then disappears. Any help finding any information on Elizabeth ANDERSON would be very much appreciated. I have her death certificate and there are two marriages for Elizabeth to JOHN JONES and RICHARD CAMDEN.
