    3. This is a long shot! Does anyone have an Edward HEALEY in their family tree who was born c.1921? In 1940 Edward Healey, 19, was driving a car that overturned at Dobroyd Point. Despite the fact that he had a fractured skull and was semi-conscious he removed his clothes and laid them over his dying companion in an attempt to keep him warm. The companion was Victor BOWMAN, also aged 19. Sadly, Victor later died in Manly Hospital despite the heroic efforts of his mate. Victor was the son of my great-uncle, Alexander BOWMAN. Although I've had Victor's death certificate for many years I've only just discovered the story of the accident in the online newspapers. I would love to know what became of Edward Healey. In the newspaper article his address is given as Huntington St, Crows Nest. Hoping someone can help. Cheers, Di _________________________________________________________________ Looking for a new home?
