Hello Listers I'm doing some work for the son of a friend of mine (he's very busy). We need a copy of his grandparents' NSW Marriage Certificate (an historical one). I'm not happy about putting my credit card details online, however secure it is claimed to be, and he doesn't have the time to deal with it. I downloaded an application form to make a postal application, but it requires 3 sorts of ID (I guess that is for the non-historical one as the same thing applies here in Qld for non-historical Certs). Is there some way, without doing it online, that I can apply for the certificate without all the ID business? Are there forms available somewhere? Is there a phone number so I can ring and ask? If it does not need to be a copy of an original and you have the reg. no's from the NSW BDM site, a transcription agent will provide a copy for about $17.
