Hi Listers, I am seeking information on the descendents, in Australia, of Sarah LYNCH(EY). Sarah arrived on the MARY iii in September 1835. She had with her on board 2 daughters and a son. One daughter was Mary Ann, my GG grandmother; I have only probable names for the other daughter and the son based on the best evidence that I have found so far. The second daughter may have been Sarah, I have found a baptism on the Isle of Man in 1826 of a Sarah daughter of Michael LYNCHY and Sarah MULLIN. The son may have been James, another son, Thomas, sentenced with the mother Sarah had a tattoo "BROTHER JAMES" recorded on his details on the indent of the Mary Ann. The family, although most likely originally from County Down, had come to Australia after a trial of the mother and son Thomas on the Isle of Man. The British government's policy at the time would mean that the girl was no older than 12 years and the son no older than 8. These siblings of my GG grandmother are one of my great brick walls in my family research. Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers Peter Melbourne
