    1. [AUS-NSW] Family Tree Maker 2009
    2. I am just about pulling my hair out with Family Tree Maker 2009! Can anyone on the list tell me how to shortcut having to put all my details when starting a new 'tree'? At the moment I have to put all my information at the beginning.....there must be a way to 'paste' and 'save as' ????????????? I found that I can Rename Tree but the actual tree filename I am renaming is also changed. This is day three with me trying to work it out........if someone can help me please.......maybe off list? philandcolleen@ozemail.com.au Colleen Central Coast NSW

    3. Colleen I do not have Family Tree Maker. On my old Generations program I can mark each person that I want in my new "tree", then I can EXPORT the marked persons as a GEDCOM file. To create the new tree I create a new tree from the menu then I IMPORT the GEDCOM that I created as above. This will populate my new tree with the marked persons. Hope this helps you. 3. HI Phil, If you had a family tree already on an older FTMaker program you should be able to transfer your info as a GEDCOM file. Pretty sure that's what I do when I update my FTMaker programs. If not your best bet would be to contact their customer service help site, Good Luck Jann -----Original Message----- From: aus-nsw-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-nsw-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of philandcolleen@ozemail.com.au Sent: Saturday, 2 January 2010 10:53 AM To: aus-nsw@rootsweb.com Subject: [AUS-NSW] Family Tree Maker 2009 I am just about pulling my hair out with Family Tree Maker 2009!
