    3. Hi Jackie, NSW BDMs online - http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/Index/IndexingOrder.cgi/search?event=births PEARSON, Anthony, died aged 86 years, Wollongong, cert no 25033/1951 No birth in NSW for him. There are three deaths registered in NSW for the name Anthony PEARSON but only one marriage (1951). It would be a good idea to purchase the death certificate for more information. A transcription agent is cheaper than the Register Office - http://www.transcriptions.com.au/ http://www.joymurrin.com.au/ Wollongong Cemetery records aren't online and a search fee is charged - http://memorialgardens.wollongong.nsw.gov.au/DeceasedSearch.htm >From the above info, it seems the one you have at Cringila Camp at Port Kembla (1 hour south of Sydney, coal mining area) would be your man, P.K. being part of Wollongong; he could have moved from Newcastle (1 hour north of Sydney, coal mining area). This mining site may be worth searching through - http://www.ozhistorymine.com/html/mining_indexes.html The staff at Wollongong Library are extremely helpful; you could try asking if there is any way of finding more info for Anthony PEARSON, as they have a great deal of local studies info including copies of the burial registers at Wollongong, Kembla Grange and surrounding areas - library@wollongong.nsw.gov.au http://www.wollongong.nsw.gov.au/library.asp http://www.wollongong.nsw.gov.au/library/portkemblanames.asp There's no record of him at NSW or National Archives.
