Dear Fellow Listers, Would any of you have a copy of or known where I could view a copy of the following book? I am intrested to see if there is anything written about a teacher who was teaching there in 1943. S.C. E.G. G.S. Darlinghurst: Centenary Register 1895- 1994: Sydney Church of England Girls' Grammar School. Sydney: Allen & Unwin, 1994. (x,325pp) 4to. Stiff sepia photo pict wrapps, blue titled spine and cover. ΒΆ A vital record which comprises 11,086 girls and 981 staff Millicent Clare FOOTE was originally from Gunnedah but according to the electoral Roll of 1943 she was teaching at SCEGGS, Darlinghurst and living in Clapton Place, Darlinghurst. The next time I am able to local her was when she was sailing on the USNS "Fred C Ainsworth" out of Manila, Phillipines in 1951 as a Wife of Minor Earl BARTLETT bound for San Francsico and onto San Antonio, Texas. It appears that she was a "War Bride".
