    3. Thanks Joan Will be much appreciated I have no record of my Lilly's in WA yet I think I have: George Lilly b 1803 in Sydney (no record found yet though) He married Mary Grace Osburne in 1826 in St George's Church, Sydney (again no record though) They had 2 daughters in 1832 & 1833 (haven't bought the NSW records yet) They went to Auckland 1842 (no evidence yet) George Brian Lilly born in Auckland 1844 (no evidence yet)(no evidence or certain that George & Mary Grace are his parents) George's siblings Susannah, James & Amos born 1842, 1846 & 1850 in Auckland (no evidence) I have evidence of George Brian Lilly: - in Dunedin 1867-1872 - in Melbourne for 2.5 wks in 1872 then back to Dunedin - married Zoe Neilly in Adelaide in 1879-1880 (but no record yet) - both are in Auckland 1887 & 1888 - Zoe died in 1892 in Sydney (no children) - George Brian remarries 1892-1896 (probably 1893)to Marian Van Hemert (no record) - they have 2 children in Mt Gamblier, SA in 1896 & 1897. Percy dies in 1898 (have certificates) - 1900-1908 George & Marian are in Melbourne This has been a tough family for me to tie up Their son Arthur George Lilly is my grandfather b 1893-1894 (again no birth record) Best regards Jim -----Original Message----- From: aus-nsw-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-nsw-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Joan Birtles Sent: January 12, 2010 8:27 PM To: aus-nsw@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-NSW] Lilly / Van Hemert Hi Jim On looking at the AGCI index I noticed quite a few with the name LILLY residing in NZ although none with the names you mentioned. Could they have gone to NZ? Also on the 1903 Electoral roll for WA the town of Williams, Division of Swan, there is a George Lilly, a publican, in fact there are a few with the name LILLY. I will send them to you off-line.
