Hello Kerry, Thank you very much for posing : The Sydney Morning Herald Saturday 26 June 1915 page 9 ... Photos of Heroes of the Dardanelles.... and web-site address. Two of those gentlemen are in my records and I had no idea there were pictures of them anywhere. So your kindness in letting us know, is greatly appreciated. Regards, Jill
Hi Jill, So glad that these guys belong to someone on the list, I dont think they come up when you do a search, just articles and I just happened upon them, I am sure there must be more in other issues. I am afraid looking at the pictures makes me feel so sad, brave young men who lost their lives so young Regards Kerry Hello Kerry, Thank you very much for posing : The Sydney Morning Herald Saturday 26 June 1915 page 9 ... Hi Kerry, Jill and Others on the List, The Australian Newspaper website has a huge number of photographs of WW1 soldiers killed in action. A blanket-search for "Heroes of the Dardanelles" and "Heroes of the Air" reveals an enormous number of photographs, as do Heroes of Australia, Gallipoli, Poziers etc and similar search terms. http://newspapers.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/search?searchTerm=heroes+of+the+dardanelles Cheers Trish Nowra NSW > Hi Jill, > So glad that these guys belong to someone on the list, I dont think they > come up when you do a search, just articles and I just happened upon them, > I am sure there must be more in other issues.
