Is anyone researching the name ELLIS? If so I am looking for the death of Frank. Frank ELLIS Born 1890 Registered in Cowra, birth possibly Carcoar or Cowra Married Unknown Died Unknown Joined the AIF in 1916 his Army Number was 6990 he returned from the war and was discharged in 1919. I belong to the local Historical Society and we have some letters which were donated to us from Frank to his sister Ellen (Nell). I have scanned them plus some photos and some medals and am now trying to put together a bit of a potted history of the man. An enquiry to the War Graves has failed to find the information as he never applied to the DVA for medical or financial assistance. Any ideas or any help would be much appreciated.
