You can look up on line yourself, but there are three different cemetries - Catholic, Anglican & Independent. http://www.catholiccemeteries.org.au/ http://www.rookwoodindependent.com.au/deceased.aspx http://rookwoodcemetery.com.au/search-online.html
Its Anglican Section 6, Grave No. 1687 - the 'detailed information' from the search results give you a rough idea of where it is. There's no easy way to check if someone else is buried there as well. You can enter each letter of the alphabet in the forename box and check each one. Bit unfortunate though if someone with a different surname (such as s-i-l) shares the plot. But if anyone has an easier method, please let us know. Cheers Barbara
Apparently there is a SAG Rookwood CD I've had some help from it off a list before.... -----Original Message----- From: aus-nsw-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-nsw-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Barbara OConnor Sent: Thursday, 25 February 2010 10:30 AM To: aus-nsw@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-NSW] Rookwood cemetery look up Its Anglican Section 6, Grave No. 1687 - the 'detailed information' from the search results give you a rough idea of where it is.
