Here is a reply which I got (on another board) to a query about the burial of a suicide - "If he was penniless or a pauper then a govt burial would have occurred in a public grave and if known in a RC area, but not in a family plot, unless he had the finances or his family had the finances to pay and were willing to pay. I f a govt burial then he'd be buried in the nearest cemetery to where he died and the undertaker would lodge 1 funeral notice. If family were paying they may have been embarrised by the situation and had a private burial thus no newspaper notices." Cheers Cheers
