Many thanks - again ..., Jules. This was one of mine that I was convinced would have had a monument. Michael and I are currently writing a paper on him. He was a North Queenslander [born Herberton, lived Charters Towers and Cairns,] with a prestigious WWI military record and awarded amongst many others, the Military Cross and Distinguished Service Order. He died in the Randwick Military Hospital.
