    3. Hi everyone I’m trying to find the children born to the above couple. We have a Mary McCool who changed her name to Florence had one son Leslie Charles MacCool in 1911 in Temora. Florence b 1895 married my Great Uncle Albert James Starr and had another son to him Albert Stanley John STARR in Temora. Florence had a sister by the name of Lilllian Beatrice McCool born c 1892 around Goulburn who married Albert James Starr’s brother William Joseph STARR. It seems that Florence/Mary and Lillian Beatrices mother was married about 4 times. Elizabeth SHARP was the daughter of Thomas SHARP and Sarah NUNN. Elizabeth NEWLING (Sharp/Izzard/McCole/Wright) died in Randwick in 1933. Would like to find the births of her children in and around the Goulburn area. The spelling of the name McCool/McCole is a bit of a problem. Kind regards Dianna

    3. Hi Everyone I’m looking for any information on the above couple and their children. Bertha E. SMITH is my mother Daphne May Starr/Charles’s half sister. {They are both the daughters of Arthur SMITH 1900-1984} On the 1949 and 1954 Electoral Rolls Mervyn and Bertha are living at 111 Everleigh St. Redfern Bertha died in 1971 in Sydney and Mervyn died 23 June 1980 late of Seven Hills. I’m trying to make a connection also with a possible descendant of Mervyns brother, he is Malcolm Neville MORGAN b 2/12/1926 died 6/3/2009. There seems to be an idea that Mervyn’s two sons (I have their names) where split up when (if?) Mervyn and his wife Bertha divorced/separated. Would like to make contact with other relatives as I would like some photos of my Grandfather Arthur SMITH. Kind regards and many thanks Dianna

    3.   Hello, Further to my own post on the Greengate Hotel area, the families I have found to be connected most there are: * Foster (who was formerly at Kissing Point on Waston's grant). * Johnsons ( surname or one of the surnames of Frances the mother of Eleanor who Foster gave land there to). *  Oatleys (Eleanor married James Oatley jnr - some of James Oatley the clockmaker, after whom Oatley suburb is named). *  Bookers, Olivers - nearby grantees south of the Greengate Hotel. *  The Waterhouse family who acquired Eleanor's lands ... there's still a Waterhouse home there, named Eryldene, but I'm not sure if that was owned by the same Waterhouse family or a different one. Anyone interested in any of these families, or in how Killara (or North Shore line generally) is now being redeveloped for highrise residential I would appreciate hearing from offline to my john.mail address, at ozemail.com.au  I have also been researching James Oatley's grave (at Ponyarra Road, Beveley Hills) - who destroyed that and who took his headstone from there, etc.  Thanks very much, John   ~~~   ----- Original Message ----- From: john.mail@ozemail.com.au aus-nsw@rootsweb.com To:, Cc: Sent:Sat, 11 Apr 2015 09:49:52 +0800 Subject:Re: [AUS-NSW] Greengate, Killara Hello,   I am looking for anyone interested in area around the Greengate Hotel, Killara.  This is on the 70 acre grant to former  convict William Foster.  There is various folklore/stories about someone (Foster's second wife it is thought) buried there, and a gravestone.
