    3. Lex There are several articles in Trove http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper re death of William Morgan. The Newcastle Chronicle and Hunter River District News Wed 17th July 1861 contain details of an inquest into his death. Also many references on Ancestry to convicts, etc. You would need to have a look to decide which might be your William. 3. Hi Dianna How sure are you that John Price/ Snow came from over sea, the only ships that I could find was 'Lyndhurst" and they arrived in 1888 / 1890 a bit too late. This info below was on one family tree. It shows that John Price was not going to pay for his wife Elizabeth. So this sounds like she left him. Elizabeth Anderson was Married 3 Three times John Price/ Snow c1838** 5 children John Jones 22 Dec 1848** 1 child Richard John Cribb alias Camden** 5 Children www.trove.nla.gov .au . 1. [AUS-NSW] DUDLEY FAMILY-SYDNEY MID 19TH CENTURY
    2. Peter STRAUSS via
    3. I am seeking any information on two daughters of George Dudley and his wife Mary Ann Lynchey, both daughters born in Chippendale in the mid 19th century. Isabella Dudley was born in 1857; I have obtained her birth certificate. Some on line trees state that she died C 1868 however they give no source reference and I have been unable to verify this. Emily Dudley was born in 1861; again I have her birth certificate, on her mother's death certificate [1901] she was one of the children stated as still living. Some on line trees state that she married in Newcastle in 1902, I have obtained a copy of that marriage certificate and unfortunately the lady is not of the correct age nor do her parents have the correct names. These same on line trees give a death date of 1922 however that document gives a different set of incorrect parents and a different husband and also still an incorrect age. Does anyone out there know anything about these two ladies or of the descendents of George and Mary please? 3. Hi I’m trying to find out more details or the origins of the above who in 1862 was convicted of Highway Robbery with his brother in law Thomas DILLON. Both ended up serving about 10 years in prison, I did see mention somewhere that they were on Cockatoo Island, I would have thought that they were in Mudgee Gaol myself. John SNOW had the following children to Elizabeth ANDERSON daughter of David Anderson and Agnes TOZER ( she was a convict on the Mary Ann 1816). Elizabeth C. ANDERSON started having her children with firstly JOHN SNOW (No marriage). The below children listed as he being the father. 1839 Sarah married Edward LAUNT 1840 Mary married THOMAS DILLON 1842 Thomas married Maria GARDINER-PEARSON 1844 Elizabeth married SAWYER-AVERY 1847 Emma maried George LAUNT John SNOW was listed as a farmer living at Reedy creek I’m not sure if this is him or not died Liverpool New South Wales, Australia, Hospital & Asylum Records, 1840-1913 Images coming under separate cover. The Surgeon General's Report contains record of John's death, the Admissions records states John came from England in 1837 and that he died 23 Jan 1878 at the age of 67 and that his ship was the "LYNDHURST" A John SNOW alias PRICE is listed at the State Archives:- Index to Deposition Registers. Would there be anything possibly in the Police Gazzettes which may have a description age or origins at all. Then hopefully I can check on convicts (or other) named JOHN PRICE. Kindest regards Dianna

Hi Everyone I’ve just had a bit of luck with my research into John WALTON I have just been sent the marriage record for him in 1872 in Cassilis and it included parents so I was very happy with that. I am now looking for Free Selector records if any exist as this is what his father Daniel is called on John’s marriage certificate. John was born on BANDO, Liverpool Plains and now I know that for sure I maybe able to track down his birth/baptism in 1854. Hoping to find perhaps that Daniel WALTON had land at BANDO (Station) and that is where John was born also another sister to John has been discovered, she being Mary Ann WALTON b 1852. Thanks for any help or advise as usual. Kind regards Dianna
