I'm endeavouring to find out what became of Frank Craufurd SYER, and I'm hoping at least one of the amateur detectives out there will be able to help solve this family mystery. He was born about 1923 in NSW and was last recorded, at least with regard to information I've been about to find, in 1980 when he was living with his mother in Randwick. I've checked the Ryerson Index. I have no idea which cemetery to check to see when and where he died. No one I've contacted in the Syer family has been able to help. Regards, Val Date

HI I’m now trying to find a death of the above who supposedly died in September 1889 in the Maitland area. I cannot find a death entry for her with any spelling PARSFIELD/PASSFIELD/PASFIELD. Another researcher has this as the death date, I don’t know where he found it. Mary Bassett-Passfield married her husband JOSHUA Passfield in England in 1848 and they both came to NSW on the Garland in 1850. Any advice very much appreciated.
