    1. [AUS-NSW] George Young, Chatswood
    2. Christine Draisey
    3. Many thanks to all who answered my question about Chatswood. It looks probable then that the George Young who died there in 1932 is "mine". He was born in Scotland about 1888 to John & Ann Gibson Young, and was married to Ethel Crombie in Woollahra in 1914. He was a cabinet maker according to their marriage record. I could find no reference to him in the Ryerson index. How is the best way to find out if any children were born to this couple? In appreciation, Christine, USA

Hi all, I am scanning and archiving my England (surname not place) family photos, and i have what i believe to be photos of Amy Louise England ( nee STARKEY) and her sisters, Edith, Alice and Emily. Amy was my gt grandfathers William England's second wife; she was born in Concord, and died Burwood, 1970. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there researching the Starkey family, and would like to share information/ photos. Cheers Sue

    3. Thanks, Trish, I'll see if Bruce Fairhall is in contact with any living relatives apart from me. We exchanged tons of data some time ago. Prussian names are a trick, aren't they? Even the one assumed to be a son was a daughter. The Frederick L K Morgan that you found the death of was Frederica Louise. Regards, Denyse Subject: Re: [AUS-NSW] ZINK, MORGAN, BERRY, VALENTINE Hello Denyse, This family tree is online for Otto Zink and his wife Frederike Louise Kageler and their children. If you click onto the children's names it gives their marriages and children's names etc. http://www.fairhall.id.au/families/myline/p636.htm Minna Anna seems to be Annie M. b.1885 no other details. I did find she and Benjamin Smart MORGAN had one sone, Frederick L.K. MORGAN, who died Newtown in 1924 (7206/1924). Cheers Trish Nowra NSW

    3. Hi Trish, Many thanks for this information and the links..fantastic! It confirms a vague story I had heard back in the 70's from my uncle, who i thought had said something about trying to track down the church, and it being sold. Didnt know whether i had dreamt it or not! :) I will certainly try the Ask a Librarian option..and persevere with the Diocese Archives contact. It will be interesting to know what happens to windows/tablets etc when churches are sold. Thanks again Trish, Cheers Sue Trev Symonds wrote: > Hi Sue, > > I couldn't find it in the White Pages or on the Anglican Church website, but > did find mention of St Paul's in Redfern having been sold to the Greek > Orthodox Church in 1969 - > http://www.stlukesliverpool.org.au/history/ > http://www.sds.asn.au/site/102720.asp?ph=cp > > A google search turns up a book at the National Library "St Paul's Church > Redern, Souvenir, Diamond Jubilee 1855-1915"; perhaps Ask A Librarian may be > of help? > http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/3034554 > http://reftracker.nla.gov.au/reft100.aspx?key=Enquiry&qnudftb17=http%3A%2F%2Fcatalogue.nla.gov.au%2FRecord%2F3034554 > > Photos of the church at NSW State Library - > http://acms.sl.nsw.gov.au/search/simpleSearch.aspx?authority=place&ID=145389 > > The Anglican Church archives may be your best bet for finding out what > happened to the dedication. > > Cheers > Trish > Nowra NSW > > >> I was wondering if anyone has come across a St Pauls Anglican Church in >> Redfern... 3. Hi all I was wondering if anyone has come across a St Pauls Anglican Church in Redfern... I am trying to track down a family tablet that was dedicated in 1887 to my gt gt grandparents. I have sent an email to the archives dept of the Anglican Church diocese, but i thought that there just may be someone who lives in the area, and knows of the whereabouts of the church, or someone who could direct me to a website or records that may have church history in the Redfern area. Many thanks, Sue
