Dear All Hoping that someone may be able to help with this person. I am interested in finding out more information about a Rupert Walter NOLAN. I have him born in 1898 at Granville NSW and deceased 1958 Petersham NSW. His parents are listed as William and Ellen NOLAN. I am trying to verify that Rupert is the son of the same William and Ellen NOLAN that I am researching. The child before and the child after Rupert were born in WA. The William and Ellen NOLAN that I am researching lived in Queensland, William born in QLD and Ellen in NSW. They have lived in QLD and WA (so far) and possibly NSW. So far I have found - 1922, 1924, 1925 - Rupert Walter NOLAN listed in the Herbert district (Ayr, Home Hill, Mirani) electoral rolls where also William and Ellen NOLAN and their children lived for sometime 1924 - There is also a Rupert W Nolan who married a Doris M Dunman in Murwillumbah NSW 1927 - Bowen-Ayr Rupert Walter Nolan registered 30/3/1926. Marked next to the record states moved -- illegible - could be Kennedy. 1930 - Rupert Nolan Male 1930 New South Wales Parkes Ashfield1936 - Rupert Walter Nolan Male 1936 New South Wales Parkes Ashfield (with Doris May at 1 Oak St) . Also a Rupert Lancelot Nolan Male 1936 New South Wales Parkes Burwood ThanksChris NolanQLD __________________________________________________________________________________ Get more done like never before with Yahoo!7 Mail. You may need to purchase their marriage certificate to find that elusive piece of information. It would give his age, birthplace, father's name/occupation, and mother's name. Good Morning, Not exactly a genealogy question, but does any one know of or direct me to where I may find information regarding coastal steamers between Newcastle and Sydney in the 1930's known as the 'beer' boats. I believe they also carried passengers at 8/- return. Many thanks Terry
