    3. HI Christene There is a number of these people with the same name in the birth index in NSW http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/familyHistory.htm do you have any other clues to go by? Possible Parents names? possible age? Any siblings you know of that can be searched on the online index to bring up the parents?? cheers Jewelly Shift your problems to challenges.  When you have problems, you worry about them.  When you have challenges - you are working, applying, and attacking your plan to get results. 2. Peter Ryan
    3. Hi All, I was wondering if anyone knows Innes Marianne (Molly) Rankin (1915-1979) and her husband, John Finn Bernard Cussen (1915-1999)? In 1967-70, they owned & worked a small motel in Ulladulla. I have a feeling that the site has been re-developed. Later in 1971, they moved to Chatswood and worked from home; she with china painting & jewellery and he with cutting precious stones. Later again, in mid 1970s they moved to Adelaide & lived at 419 Henley Beach Road, Lockleys. In 1975, they bought 50 Diosma Drive, Coromandel Valley while they ran an antique business called "Sapphire Antiques". Anyone who has photos or any information, please contact me off line, Thanks, Peter, Melbourne

    3. Hi Listers, I have William Edward HALL marrying Cecelia Mary GREEN, 1886, Nyngan (4325/1886). They (supposedly) had twelve children, including Willa HALL, born 1902 in Cobar. I can't find any record of a birth, marriage or death for Willa HALL. There is a birth registered for Irene W.P. HALL, 1904, Cobar (2328/1904) with the same parents. Again, no marriage or death for Irene W.P. HALL, and she isn't on my list of known children. I am trying to establish if these are two separate daughters, or if Irene's second name was Willa. Would anyone have access to Cobar cemetery records to see if she died as an infant, or birth records to check her name for me please? Any sightings to help unravel the puzzle gratefully received. Many thanks, Trish Nowra NSW

At 07:12 PM 11/10/2009, you wrote: >Many of us already subscribe to Ancestry >you could try asking me to do a few look ups >and work out then if it would help or not >christene Hi Christene, That's a very kind offer, thank you. My biggest hurdle is finding any information about my Great Grandfather, known to us as Curly ELLISON, correct name probably William Henry ELLISON... but this may or may not have been his actual name. I have found no birth marriage or death registrations as yet. I don't know if he ever legally married, I know he did not legally marry the mother of my Grandfather. I do know that he was gaoled in NSW numerous times between 1885 & 1914, I have those records, though interesting they haven't helped a lot as the age & place of birth varies between birth 1855-1865 in NSW, Victoria & unknown. He also used many alias surnames, most commonly Herbert, Peters, Smith & Barnett. I have all the related family descendants certificates none give any details of his parentage or place of birth. In 1887 his age is stated as 25, that's the only cert that gives an age, & he was living at Glebe. He would have died after 1932, but I have no idea how long after or where. His stated occupations were also varied... hairdresser, barber, boilermaker, labourer. I haven't explored electoral rolls as yet... one of the reasons I'm considering a subscription. Again, thanks for the offer of look ups, Regards, Vicki No virus found in this outgoing message Checked by PC Tools AntiVirus (6.0.0.19 - 10.004.098). http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/
