    3. Hi A good start in your research would be Yvonne Browning's book , ST PETERS RICHMOND THE EARLY PEOPLE AND BURIALS. 1791-1855 It was published privately in 1990. All of the families you mention are in it. Your local historical society might have a copy. 3. Leone, I just searched Whittington in Kogarah in a White Pages on line search. I came up with 23 people of that name scattered in various parts of Sydney including a couple not too distant from the St George area. If your friend still has relatives of that name in Sydney you might get lucky. It will need a phone call or two - or 23 Also if your friend still uses her original name on the Electoral rolls then visit your nearest electoral office and check the rolls. Its a free search and might find her name or that of a brother if she had one. If you were at school together in the 1960s then there is a chance one of her parents or both might be living and in the electoral rolls and a letter or phone call might bring results. Finally both the Sydney Morning Herald and Daily Telegraph have enquiries sections that I have used a few times with varying results. If the my enquiry is on behalf of others especially ones from overseas then I have had good results. If its my own family then nothing comes of it. Good luck David Central Coast NSW > Hi List, > > I guess this is off topic, but I am looking for my best friend in high > school, DENISE WHITTINGTON.
