    3. Marie, Mudbilly definitely existed, though usually spelt as Mutbilly; no idea its still there, it doesn't show up on google maps. Mutmutbilly is also St Brigid's, so I guess its the same place and its name changed over time. 3. Good morning listers, I've just been having a wonderful time searching through the online parish maps at the Dept of Lands, and found exactly where land owned by family members was located, or land they owned that I never knew they had. I hadn't come across this site before, so am posting in case it helps others in their family research. 1. [AUS-NSW] DESCENDENTS OF SARAH LYNCH(EY)
    2. Peter Strauss
    3. Hi Listers, I am seeking information on the descendents, in Australia, of Sarah LYNCH(EY). Sarah arrived on the MARY iii in September 1835. She had with her on board 2 daughters and a son. One daughter was Mary Ann, my GG grandmother; I have only probable names for the other daughter and the son based on the best evidence that I have found so far. The second daughter may have been Sarah, I have found a baptism on the Isle of Man in 1826 of a Sarah daughter of Michael LYNCHY and Sarah MULLIN. The son may have been James, another son, Thomas, sentenced with the mother Sarah had a tattoo "BROTHER JAMES" recorded on his details on the indent of the Mary Ann. The family, although most likely originally from County Down, had come to Australia after a trial of the mother and son Thomas on the Isle of Man. The British government's policy at the time would mean that the girl was no older than 12 years and the son no older than 8. These siblings of my GG grandmother are one of my great brick walls in my family research. Any help would be most appreciated. Cheers Peter Melbourne

    3. Dear Fellow Listers, Would any of you have a copy of or known where I could view a copy of the following book? I am intrested to see if there is anything written about a teacher who was teaching there in 1943. S.C. E.G. G.S. Darlinghurst: Centenary Register 1895- 1994: Sydney Church of England Girls' Grammar School. Sydney: Allen & Unwin, 1994. (x,325pp) 4to. Stiff sepia photo pict wrapps, blue titled spine and cover. ΒΆ A vital record which comprises 11,086 girls and 981 staff Millicent Clare FOOTE was originally from Gunnedah but according to the electoral Roll of 1943 she was teaching at SCEGGS, Darlinghurst and living in Clapton Place, Darlinghurst. The next time I am able to local her was when she was sailing on the USNS "Fred C Ainsworth" out of Manila, Phillipines in 1951 as a Wife of Minor Earl BARTLETT bound for San Francsico and onto San Antonio, Texas. It appears that she was a "War Bride". 1. [AUS-NSW] History of James William and John Henry MILLER in Australia
    2. Glynis & Scott Wheeler
    3. Dear Folks, I am currently compiling the history of these two young men who arrived in the Colony of New South Wales on the 27th September 1857 from Norwich, Norfolk, England on the "Washington Irvine". They firstly lived in the Penrith/Emu Plains area before moving to Quirindi where John Henry spent the remainder of his life and James William went on to seek his fortune in the Armidale/Hillgrove/Walcha/Uralla areas. There are many name connected directly to these two gentleman and the families have branched out in many directions. I have listed below what names I do know married into the MILLER families and the areas in which they lived. If anyone has any connections with these families, please could you contact me. I am after any photographs, family stories, certificates, etc. Every little bit will be gratefully accepted and I may be able to help you in your research as well.
