Dear friends and acquaintances I have completed all 52 web pages for the former Mayors of Mackay finally after 7 years of research....there are still a couple I do not have information on so if anyone can help please drop me a line. The stories of these men and one woman make interesting reading into the history of Mackay and their contributions to the city and the district as a whole. Some made little impact some made decisions that can still be seen and appreciated today. Some are remembered , many have been forgotten so I hope this little effort will help in keeping this part of Mackay's history alive.
