Ann, daughter of Patrick Treacy and Mary Anne Ryan was born on 4th March 1872. She married Robert McLEAN before 4th June 1891. Their children were Alan and Eileen. Robert McLean was a member of the Port Douglas Shire Council in 1906, and supposedly had a hotel in Port Douglas or Mosman at that time. He had been a gold miner on the North Queensland fields, including the Palmer and the Hodgkinson for many years prior to1906. Robert McLean was a member of Christie Palmerston's party formed at Port Douglas to prospect the Daintree River. Any information on this family gratefully received.
