What I know -- I know when and how Fritz Peter Andreas Skau, Christina Benedicta Sondergaard and Hannah Theobald came to Australia -- (1871, 1872 and 1873 respectively). Hannah arrived as Mrs Charles Humphr(e)y but Charles died soon after and she remarried Samuel Robinson from Bradford, Yorkshire. Fritz Skau married Christina Sondergaard (1872). One of their children was Fritz Skau who married Florence Hannah Robinson (daughter of Samuel Robinson and Hannah Humphry/Theobald). These four are my great grand-parents. I know most of the details of the direct family. What I hope to find out is -- (1) when Samuel Robinson came to Australia (it has to be prior to 1877 as he and Hannah Humphr(e)/Theobald married on 4 Jan 1877 in Maryborough). (2) the movements of these two families after their marriages. I know the Skaus worked at the Archer cattle property at the time of their marriage, I know they were naturalised in Bowen in 1906 and I think part of their lives was spent in the Charters Towers area and I think he worked for the railways. (3) more of Samuel Robinson's parentage and his exact date of birth. (It is somewhere about 1850/1 - his parents were Joseph Robinson and Sarah Thornton). (4) more of Hannah Theobald's parentage -- she was born in Broxbourne, Hertford in 1842/5/6, her parents being John Theobald and "unknown". (5) anything about Samuel and Hannah's son, Frederick, born 20 May 1878 -- I know nothing more than this about him. (6) anything about Hannah's children from her first marriage to Charles Humphr(e)y. They were Alfred (b 1867), Emily (1870), Rosina (1872) and Francis Edgar (b 24 Jan 1875).
