Dear Ann, I had family in Hughenden and would like to know where can i purchase a copy of this book? Regards Amanda ---------- From: A Alloway <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Items for "Ralatively Speaking" magazine Date: Monday, 23 October 2000 23:03 Denyse When I was the secretary of the Hughenden State School Centenary in 1980 we published a booklet of the history of the school. In it is reminiscences of several teachers during WW2 and it's effect on the school. Also the pupil-teacher system and Hughenden. If you would like a photocopy, I can post it to you. As one of the teachers is still alive, would you please acknowledge that it is from the History of the Hughenden State School 1880-1980 - if you use it. I guess it would be OK to publish it, as I was one of the editors. Let me know if you would like it.
