Barbara, I have just come back from a shopping trip to Innisfail and a visit to the local Historical Society. After some searching from a local Octogenarian the following was items were found, 1. An article on the Strands' history in the 1995 IHS newsletter and two photos on display with the Hotel damaged in the 28 Jan 1906 Cyclone and also the 1918 Cyclone damage. The hotel is not there any more ,the RSL hall was built on the site, blown down in another Cyclone and rebuilt in brick, and still standing. I have the article with me now, if you contact me on 0740671632 we can followup on what you would like to find out. Regards. Larry & Coreen Andresen. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Sullivan <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, 27 July 2000 3:54 Subject: Sullivan - Innisfail >I am looking for any Information on Sullivnnans Strand Hotel In Innisfail.
