Still seeking my VINCENT connections, and although this location is a little south-west of north, I hope someone may have some information about this fellow. There is a "Blazed Tree" on the site of the Queensland 1891 Barcaldine Shearer's Strike camp. I have been given information that the name "W. VINCENT" is emblazoned into the trunk of a tree. Does anyone know this "W. VINCENT"? Possibly one of the shearer's? PS - Barcaldine is way west of Rockhampton and east of Longreach, in Queensland.
