    3. I don't know of anyone in Qld who does BDM transcripts, it certainly would be cheaper. Some burial records have most of the same information if one can get their hands on them. As for fische only being as good as the transcriber, remember that for death certificates the information is only as accurate as the informant. Cairns cemetery records do not record the names of parents. If you can't afford a full certificate why not arrange for a transcription for less cost. Having the details from the certificate is the only way to accurately record your family. Remember the fische for BDM is only as accurate as the people who prepared the fishe in the first place!
