    3. HI Joyce, everyone. I have put a site together of the bush graves around Irvinebank and hope to add other cemeteries and graves found throughout the Far North. Kurilda is a bit far out of our range but if anyone is willing to contribute to the web site they would be most welcome. I would also be willing to help out if anyone wants to put a page or two together from around their own area of interest. I think that the headstones were meant to be seen and read but the people, towns and roads have disappeared over the years so putting them up on the net makes them accessible again to the descendents and others who are interested. The pages can be found at http://www.geocities.com/scribble67/graves anybody else got an opinion on this? -----Original Message----- From: Helen Lucas [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, 14 August 2000 10:48 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Lone Grave Hi Joyce I just wanted to suggest that the date on the headstone could not be correct. Pastoral settlement in this area began in the 1860s. Is it possible that the date has faded on the headstone or the angle of the photo makes the date hard to read?
