Dear Lorrae I have examples in my own tree where if a child has died a succeeding child has been renamed with the same name. Cairns cemetery records do not record the names of parents. If you can't afford a full certificate why not arrange for a transcription for less cost. Having the details from the certificate is the only way to accurately record your family. Remember the fische for BDM is only as accurate as the people who prepared the fishe in the first place! Regards, Judy.
