I am trying to fill in the missing years of Othello Barratt who landed Brisbane Nov.. 1861. He is on the electoral roll for Yandilla 1864-68. He disappears until 1871 where he takes up land and a hotel in Cooktown. He has a lagoon presumably names d after him in Cooktown. My query is that there is also a Barratts Creek/Lagoon and possibly an Othellos Creek/Lagoon in the Daintree region. Can anyone put me in touch with someone who is knowledgeable with the Daintree Region. Many thanks. Joy
