Hi Peter The 26th Battalion fought alongside the 25th Battalion in a lot of battles. The history of the 25th Bn. "Black over Blue" mentions the 26th Bn. on a number of occasions. The 25th Bn. was so depleted with casualties the remnants were incorporated into the 26th. "Black over Blue" was written by Bon Doneley and the book was printed by USQ Press, PO Box 58 Darling Heights, Toowoomba, 4350. I notice another book by the same author is World War 1 1914-1918-Regimental Histories - Australia. Perhaps the 26th has its own history. Daphne Nielsen
