Witnesses at wedding were Adolph Phillipofske & Heinrich Lutz. I cannot locate anything more on this family since the date of the wedding - couldn't find any births. I can find information on August & Adolph, but Hermann & Martha seem to have disappeared. I've searched White Pages Aust to see if there are any families with derivatives of Phillipofske - don't know if they changed it to Phillips at some stage?? I have information from Bundaberg District & Pioneers - PHILLIPOFSKE, A Mar 1886 cert granted 320a Kalkie; Feb 1900 serving in Boer War in Sth Africa, invalided home thru' illness Sept 1900. This could be Hermann's brother Adolph, rather than the father August PHILLIPOFSKE, Adolph b Germany occ Charcoal Burner Feb 1898 took Oath of allegiance, B'berg PHILLIPOFSKE, August occ Leaseholder res Branyan ch: Herman; Jan 1887 renewal granted Land Court B'berg (1125) I have also located an Oath of Allegiance by the father August Phillipofske of Kalkie taken at Bundaberg & filed in supreme court 4/4/1894. He came from West Prussia, 52 yrs old at time & a farmer. PHILIPOWSKI August (30), Wilhelmine (29), Hermann (6) & Adolph (3) arrived as Free passengers departed Hamburg 3 July 1873 on "Humboldt" I found monumental inscriptions for Adolph Philipofski who died 9/1/1943 aged 73 yrs & Annie M H Phillipofski who died 6/3/1943 aged 71yrs. Gympie That's it. Wondered if they'd moved to another locale & someone may have seen the name. Any suggestions what to do next. Gai
