Hello everyone, I'm asking if anyone has any immigration records for about 1861? I don't know where this family landed in Australia, quite likely Brisbane, they went to Rockhampton. They are William ORR and his wife Jane ORR, (nee Hunter).I have finally got the death cert. of William, in 1881, and it says he has been in the colonies for 20 years. I take it that it means in Australia, not just Queensland? The family came from Ayrshire, Scotland. All of these children could have been with them.I have these from the IGI and also their certs. The ages don't tally with those on the death cert though!! Jane ORR (F). B: 27 Oct 1834 Margaret ORR (F)..B: 15 Sep 1836 James ORR (M) C: 15 Dec 1838 Janet ORR (F) B: 21 Mar 1841 Thomas Hunter ORR (M) B: 13 Feb 1843 William ORR (M) B: 13 Feb 1843 These extras are from the death cert. of William, as are the above, but with different ages. George ORR (M) B 1860 Jessie ORR (F) B 1843 I know Janet ORR came, and I've read of William jnr and John being here.Janet married my g/g/g/f, John Richardson McWilliam. I would appreciate any help with links ideas for finding out their arrival place please. I've searched the NSW and Vic assisted and non-assisted lists without any luck.
