The following information was provided by Judy Webster. Queensland Health has just closed the Burketown Hospital admission register. It is expected that Croydon, Cooktown, Ingham and Muttaburra registers less than 100yrs old will also be closed. Please consider (as a matter of urgency) whether you want searches in post-1903 registers for any of those towns. Some registers have been indexed and the names are on my Web site.
