Dear listers, I have recently found my great uncle William Myers Harle's Boer War records, and he has listed his next of kin as G. Harle, living at the School of Arts, Rockhampton. At the time this man was 65, and had variously been described as engineer, engine fitter, and gentleman, and at the time of his death in 1907, aged 70 he was intestate and in the Dunwich Benevolent Asylum.
