    3. I am researching the Craies family , a number of the family lived in Townsville and other parts of Northern Queensland Walter Hamilton Craies and Emma (Wright) Craies lived and worked in Bowen, Townsville, Cooktown, Macknade Sugar Plantation , Victoria Plantation - Cardwell and on four north Queensland Stations. Walter worked in the Bank of NSW, Bank of North Queensland and as an accountant from approx 1885 until late 1920's. Charlotte Sabina Craies married George Alexander Roberts in 1881 and they lived in Townsville. Stuart Craies married Ella Hillcoat in 1889 and worked for the Qld National Bank in Innisfail, Hughenden and Townsville until 1912. Does anyone have any information about this family and can anyone recommend good history books that cover any of these regions at this time. Jenny Easlea "Shuna" Dayboro 4521 [email protected]
